The Course Information Management and Strategic Decision Taking will allow the students to identify the appropriate data and information to support strategic decisions and to critically evaluate the impact of Management Information System in an organization. It also emphasizes on the legal responsibilities related to the information sourcing, accessing, storing, offering, sharing and evaluating the impact of using various formats. Students will be equipped with the necessary tools & techniques to identify patterns and trends to support strategic decision making. This course will allow professionals to be able to grasp the strategic use of information systems as a means for acquiring competitive advantage. Students will be able to understand the importance of proper sharing and utility of information within an organisation, and monitoring and reviewing the management information.
